I baked a carrot cake with daughter this evening. It was mostly a success, although the icing didn't thicken, the outside seemed to caramelise and it tastes faintly of bacon and popcorn. Odd, that. It was still lovely though.

I started playing Elder Scrolls Oblivion today. It's bloody ace! I've downloaded a fair number of games recently and this is one of the few that has captured my attention.
