Yesterday was an afternoon meal to celebrate Kate's 40th birthday, and I dined at Prezzo with a wonderful group of people including three little ones and a few folk I'd not seen for a while. It was a lovely afternoon and it led into a great evening of laughter, music and beer with Alex, Neil, Tracey and Barry.

This morning I woke up stupidly early for how drunk I was and how late I got to bed. I watched the last half of the first grand prix of the season, chatted to Tess for a while and went out for a lovely hilly walk near Banbury with my parents. I had a relaxing bath and early bed and BSG.
